The room is a quiet and comfortable, fully furnished room with a good bed and with amazing views. Facing east, great sunrises over amsterdam if you are early enough :). The apartment is situated on the top floor of a nine storey building. (there is an elevator). there is free coffee and tea in the kitchen.
Bathroom with bath, modern kitchen: dryer, washer, dishwasher,nespresso, juicer, toaster etc and a fast wifi connection.
Downstairs at right at the corner you will find a Bagels and Beans cafe for a perfect breakfast, and at 3 min walk all the necessary stores, some restaurants and the best french bakery of Amsterdam; le Fournil.
The location is very close to main transport hub “Amsterdam Zuid” (from where its 7 min to airport, 10 min to Dam square), on walking distance of VU university, business area zuidas and conference centre RAI, yet still inside the city ring of amsterdam. (its only a 20 min walk to museum square. see map.)
The room is perfect for someone who is looking for a nice and quiet place to stay.
Please note this a private home in residential building. So its perfect if you need a quiet, clean, cozy and comfortable place to stay. It is not suitable if you come to amsterdam to party. I need to go to work during the week, so please no late night cooking or music after 11.

I am diederik, am a garden designer. I like to travel a lot and being a traveller myself I know the importance of a pleasant clean place to stay. I hope you will find my room to be just that.
I am renting out a spare room in my apartment. I mostly rent out the room for long term but this summer my room is available for short periods. I will be travelling a lot so looking for someone who likes to rent my room for a period for two weeks in july that wouldnt mind to water my plants.
